Wake Up Everybody!

We all need to wake up. Every last one of us. We are in this state of simply sleeping everything by. Letting the sleep and crust in our eyes be our shield to the reality right in our faces. We are waking up for a small portion of time to catch a quick moment of fun or to simply get a glass of water to ease us back to sleep. We can't keep living life this way. We can't keep sleep walking and ignoring the reality. Today I have decided to wake up to the reality that I can and will be better. I have the potential, strive, and determination. I need to stay awake at these most important and crucial moments. Now that I have wiped the sleep away from my eyes I see now that that boy of my dreams was just a dream. He is simply a figment of my imagination. I don't want to keep living in that world of pretend. Therefore today I am taking the necessary steps to live in reality. In my dreams I need the help of no one. But I am awake now. I see that I need the help from every lending hand. I can create dreams on my own. But I need the help of others to make my reality come true. So all you sleep fairies can go away! You can leave too sand man! Because I am awake now! I am accepting reality, making the necessary changes, and becoming something bigger, better, stronger, and wiser.
